Whether you're just starting out or ready to advance your skills, our expert instructors will guide you through the fun of hand-building, wheel-throwing, and glazing. Make beautiful pottery, explore your artistic side, and connect with a vibrant and supportive creative community.

Registration will open Nov. 28 at 10 AM

All classes will have 11 spots, $365

Monday evening beginners/all levels:
6:30-9:30 with Terry
January 5-March 16

(January 5, 12, 19, 26; February 2, 9, 23; March 2, 9, 16; no class February 16) 



Friday morning beginner/all levels:
9-12 with Lori
January 9- March 13

Friday evening intermediate:
6:30-9:30 with Tyler

Classes fill up quickly and are limited to 11 students.​​​

Class Details:

Our instructed courses cover a syllabus focusing on the fundamentals of hand building, glazing and throwing.

EPG Classes are for people 16 and older and take place in our EPG Studio

 

Classes include: 

  • 3 hours per week

  • Clay to complete projects (distributed in class)

  • Basic glazing

  • Storage for clay and projects-in-progress (no storage for personal items)

  • Parking

  • Students to provide: pin tool, cutting wire, trimming tool, small sponge, wood modelling tool, metal rib, light plastic (dry cleaning bags work best or light garbage/recycle bags), apron (optional), indoor shoes.

Studio capacity is restricted to the class participants.

Student access is permitted only during class hours.

⭐ Registration fees are non-refundable and no makeup sessions will be provided for missed classes.

Since 1952, the Edmonton Potters Guild has given inspiring students and full fledged artists a home to create, share ideas and produce art with some amazing results.
